Craig Greenfield - bio

Craig Greenfield is the International Coordinator of a fast growing mission movement into the slums of Asia called Servants to
Asia's Urban Poor.
For the past 6 years Craig and his wife Nay have lived amongst the urban poor in the slums of Cambodia, working
with Servants and establishing a large ministry
amongst AIDS orphans. They are now pioneering a new Servants team in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Craig's
book on their years in Cambodia is entitled, "The Urban Halo:
hope for orphans of the poor" and was published by
Authentic Media in April 2007. See www.urbanhalo.org for more information.
Craig is the co-founder and former director of
Project HALO
(Hope, Assistance and Love for Orphans),
a ministry of Servants Cambodia, which
has helped
Cambodian communities
care
for nearly 1000 children
orphaned and affected by AIDS. Project HALO has been cited by
UNICEF as a
case study in
best practice.
Craig Greenfield is also the founder of Big Brothers and
Sisters of Cambodia, a rapidly spreading youth movement
mobilising and training Christian young people all over
Cambodia to be mentors to orphans. The movement aims to
challenge old community development paradigms and demonstrate
the power of people movements sparked by the Holy Spirit.
Craig is happily married to Nay, a Cambodian-New Zealander and
they have two young children: Jayden and Micah.
Craig
is a dynamic speaker and
has
spoken
at Urbana, Micah and Viva conferences, as well as churches, missions
events and Bible Schools all over the world.
