General qualifications
Servants looks for people with:
- Proven Christian character
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to training for long-term mission
- Proven ministries at home
- Experience - generally 22 years of age or older before
reaching the field
- People with the flexibility to adapt to another culture
- A heart for the poor

Term Length
Typically, workers serve an initial term of
three years, followed by a 6-month home assignment. The
home assignment is usually spent based in the home church, but
some time is spent working for Servants. For example,
visiting interested groups and taking part in conferences.
The nature of Servants ministry requires
primarily long-term workers but there can be short-term
opportunities. Contact your nearest home team for
details.
Urgent Need for Servants Home Team Workers
God calls both individuals and churches to a sacrificial missionary lifestyle wherever they are. Christians need to be informed about the issues of poverty and injustice. They need to become involved with the poor in their local communities or relocate to areas of pain in their own cities. Perhaps you might join or begin a Servants home team and become active in supporting Servants' work in Asia.
